Studio Membership
Studio memberships allow full access to the clay studio for approved members. Please only purchase this membership if you have spoken with us first and been approved. If you purchase this membership, you will only have studio access after you have gone through the orientation steps below—>
Members are required to have taken at least one introductory class at Pawpaw or another clay studio (like Cosmic Clay in Smithville!), and they should be able to share info with us about their background and experience.
Members must go through a studio orientation session prior to gaining access to the studio. Schedule your orientation with Cornelia as soon as your membership is purchased if not before!
All members will be required to adhere to studio guidelines, which will include basic respect for others and safety protocols as well as cleaning up after yourself!
Membership levels:
A MEMBERSHIP
Will still have to clean up your own messes, but do not have to participate in additional weekly community clean-ups or volunteer at events.
Clay is included in this membership level—up to 6 × 25-lb blocks/year (at a rate of no more than 1 × 25-lb-block per month)
Access to recycled community clay and community tools
Full 24/7 access to the studio
B MEMBERSHIP
Commit to 1 community cleaning task per week (approx. 30 minutes) when you use the studio that week IN ADDITION TO basic clean-up after yourself.
Will volunteer to help for at least a couple hours at one of our events in the course of the year :)
Access to recycled community clay and community tools
Full 24/7 access to the studio
Steps to Join:
Contact us via social media dm or using this site’s contact form—share your experience level and story and we will get back to you and schedule a time to meet or talk on the phone.
Meet up for a studio orientation in-person where you will review and sign our New Member Onboarding Form.
Provide a photo ID.
Sign up here on our website for a monthly membership subscription at your preferred level! Your payment card will be billed monthly thereafter until you cancel.
We’ll give you a key code to access the space.
